Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. The name of her can be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that have been widely praised. Her name was also recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an instrument in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sounds it would create. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to play music only for fun or as a means of growth but rather, she must take it seriously. So she started with her own music. Her sources include noted writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her affinity with Bjork's style. She decided to start performing her songs publicly when her mother said they might help others not be famous with her work but to make people see around them realize their own importance and how they could impact the world. When she was six she started playing the piano and at nine began writing her own songs. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she told her parents. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. Aurora claims she loves writing music. According to her music, is the best way to express anything.
